No. You control your sharing at all times. You can pause location updates instantly from the app — when paused, circle members see you as offline and your position stops updating. You can resume at any time.
Loxymity uses adaptive tracking that automatically adjusts based on your movement, with no fixed polling interval. While you are moving it reports at most once a minute, and only after you have moved 20 metres. The moment you stop it drops to once every ten minutes. Below 20% battery it stays in the slower mode even while you move, unless you are charging — and a drive in progress is the one thing allowed to override that, down to 10%.
Only members of circles you've explicitly joined — and only after the circle owner has approved your request. No one outside your approved circles can see your location, ever.
Yes. Loxymity is available on both iOS and Android, and circles mix freely across the two. Real-time maps, SOS alerts, chat, calls, driving reports, flight tracking, geo-fencing and iBeacon tracking all work on both.
Every circle member receives an immediate push notification — even if their app is closed — containing the exact GPS coordinates of the person in distress. There is no delay and no typing required. The app also logs the event in the activity feed.

Yes. Tap any circle member on the map to replay their trail. Your own phone keeps an unlimited record on every plan, including Free. What your circle can see is the server window — 2 days on Free, then 30, 90 and 180 days on Gold, Platinum and Infinite. For comparison, most family-locator apps stop at 30 days on their most expensive plan.
Your phone holds the full record, so a lost or reset device loses whatever sits outside your plan's server window. That is exactly what Vault is for: an end-to-end encrypted backup on paid plans that restores to a new phone. We cannot read it — the encryption key never leaves your device.
Yes — in-app voice calls are recorded automatically from the moment the call starts, so there is no prompt each time. Recordings are encrypted, kept for 28 days, and then deleted. Video calls are not recorded. Recording law varies by country and in some places every party must consent, so tell the people you call in-app, and use your ordinary phone dialler for anything you would rather not have recorded. This is set out in section 5 of our Terms.
Other Loxymity phones near you can carry your location onward. Your phone hands a small, end-to-end encrypted packet to any nearby device over Bluetooth, and whichever one reaches the internet first passes it on. The phone doing the carrying cannot read it and learns nothing about you, and the location still only ever reaches the circles you already share with. You can switch it off at any time.
Each trip gets a score and a grade, a route, distance and duration, and an honest split between time actually moving and time stuck in traffic. Loxymity also measures road roughness from your phone's accelerometer and reports a smoothness index for the road you drove on. That figure never counts against your score — you did not build the road. Driving reports are on Platinum and above, and everyone in a Platinum circle gets them.
No. A plan belongs to a circle, not to a seat. One person upgrades the circle and every member gets the longer history, the calling minutes, Street View and driving reports on their own free account. There is no per-person bill at any tier.
Never. Loxymity has no advertising, your location data is not sold, and we do not use your content to train models. We do rely on service providers to run the app — Supabase for the database (hosted in Mumbai, India), Agora for calls, Cloudflare for encrypted backups, Google Maps for mapping, Groq for interpreting assistant questions, and RevenueCat, Stripe and Razorpay for payments. Each is contractually a processor acting on our instructions, and the full list is in our Privacy Policy.
